It is an excellent forum to bring the LOHANA community together. There is a need to UNITE and expand our horizon not only in UK, US, South Africa but world over including the small towns in India. LOHANA are the worriers, we have fought for against many evils. But, still today we live in minority. The development our people in Kutch region are pathetic. Also, there is a need to retrospect that are we doing enough to create opportunities for our brothers and sisters to progress and create UNIQUE identity for themselves and the LOHAN community in Large. In India and in Gujarat we have very insignificant presence in the Governance primarily because of lack in Education. There, is a need to create Education Centers built around our Cultural Heritage yet modern enough, so that our new generation can withstand the influence of Globalization. In the past we have been executing several education projects in our own little way through the available resource. But, there is a need to mobilize more resource to create opportunities for higher education and growth for the members of our community. I am willing share my opinion and contribute in this process and will appreciate a dialog.
