Shri Lal Bapu Gebi |
The person who knows that only energy (Chaitaniya or God or
Gebi) exists in all the forms is called Sadguru.
He has realised that Gebi is in manifest and un-manifested form
at the same time. This is defined as Gebi, which means mysterious
whereas western world calls it energy. This energy is perpetual
as it was never born and manifests itself in all the
perceptible forms. It will be there even if this universe
vanishes. It is Immortal.

These
preaching are given on a cool
Punam evening, with the moon shining and Gods
coming out for "Satsang" (talk about strictures and
philosophy). The place is the Amardham,
Hathijan, about 7 Km. Away from Ahmedabad.
The
ambience of the night is complete with peacocks freely strutting
around, while hundreds of saints, pilgrims, and
followers of the Gebi, sit calmly listening to the deep and
caressing and holy voice of Shri
Lal Bapu Gebi as he is widely known.
"The
services rendered whether to people or animals is an act of worship of God.
Lalbapu believes that selfless service and awareness of
almighty dilutes your ego. Gradually the ego vanishes and
dissolves into Gebi (Chaitanya) and the person realizes that myself is not myself, Thou art takes over the
soul." This from the mouth of a Saint, who had walked
this hard path and has inspired thousands of people, to do the
same. |

Unlike normal children,
he always pestered his mother asking questions about God, or how and why human beings are
born or
why animals are in
existence, what makes them different from humans and others in
this vein. Naturally, the humble lady had no answer. He frustrated his
teachers in the school who wanted him to learn the rudiments
while he would be always making his own characters or stories
and confusing the teachers asking questions for which they
had no answers to. When they complained to his father, he
smiled and told them, "I do understand what you mean, but
that's how he is, and that's how he acts at home too. He has
proved time and again that birth is given by father, but
Karma (Work) is given by the Nature."
