Piyushbhai G Gantha Born on the auspicious day of November 11 in the year 1966, the Mumbai resident Shri Piyushbhai G Gantha is a Lohana community stalwart who has been forever active to enrich the lives of umpteen number of Lohana brothers and sisters through his wholehearted dedication towards the community service.


A devoted son of Late Shri Gangarambhai Gantha and Smt Shardaben Gantha, and the beloved spouse of Smt Kiranben Gantha, Shri Piyushbhai accomplished his graduation from the prestigious Dalmiya college located in the suburb of Malad in Mumbai.

He became member of Halai Lohana Mahajan Executive Committee in 1996 and got elevated to the prestigious post of its Education Committee Vice Chairman. Thereafter, Shri Piyushbhai also rendered his zealous services as Secretary of Kandivali Halai Lohana Balashram and the Chairman of Lohana Mahajan's Nutnikaran Samiti. In the year 2000, he became trustee and also the joint managing trustee of Shri Lohana Mahajan. Shri Piyushbhai was eventually accorded the status as the President of Shri Lohana Mahajan in the year 2004.

Shri Piyushbhai initiated a variety of noble activities during his Presidenship of Shri Lohana Mahajan. Some of them include : in memory of Late Shri Gangarambhai Gantha, establishing the practice of awarding the Gold Medals to the students ranking the top most slots in the successive SSC examinations, the inaugurations of Malani Hall, Mashru Conference Hall and Nathwani Terrace Garden, the Lohana Samuh Naat Jaman in the year 2006, establishing a committee dedicated to Samuh Janoi, commencing the hostel facility for the Higher Education pupils studying in Mira-Bhayandar area of Mumbai, designing, incepting and popularising the website of Shri Lohana Mahajan, e stablishing Higher Education Nidhi - a corpus dedicated towards funding the Higher Education studies of Lohana students, the commencement of Shri Lohana Mahajan Charitable

Dispensary, initiating the movement against the dowry practice in the Lohana Community and initiating the movement of establishing a laudable practice of an equal sharing by the bridegroom's family of all the expenses incurred by the bridal side in the Lohana marriages.
